Session 1 · Colossians 1–4
All the fullness of God dwells in Christ.
- Paul prays that they would be filled with the knowledge of God's will, and he hymns Christ as the image of God in whom all things hold together.
- In Christ the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and regulations and visions cannot replace the Head who has canceled the record of debt.
- Raised with Christ, they set their minds above, put to death what is earthly, and put on compassion in a household ordered under the Lord.
- They are to pray and walk wisely toward outsiders, and Paul sends greetings from coworkers, asking them to remember his chains.
